Quantitative Aptitude Test (QAT) 2024

Applicants are recommended to take QAT instead of GRE Math Subject Test unless they are not in Thailand.

Exam Date and Time: Sunday May 12, 2024 from 9 am. – 11.30 am.

You must be present at a test site at least 15 minutes before the test starts. Those who come after the test starts for 30 minutes or more will NOT be allowed to enter the test room.

Location:  Room 131, Jaiyomsombat 1 Building, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University

Exam Fee: 1,500 baht

Format: There are 50 questions with 5 choices per question. No calculators are allowed. 

You must bring 2B pencils to the test.

    2. Differentiation, Calculus of several variables
    3. Integrals, double integrals
    4. Taylor series
    5. Maximum and minimum values of functions
    6. Solutions to first-order and second-order linear ordinary differential equations
       
  2. Linear Algebra (10 Questions)
    1. Matrices and matrix operations
    2. Determinants
    3. Vectors and their graphical interpretation
    4. Systems of linear equations
    5. Linear combination, linear independence
       
  3. Probability and Statistics (20 Questions)
    1. Venn diagram
    2. Combination/ Permutation
    3. Bayes rule
    4. Distributions: Bernoulli, Binomial, Geometric
    5. Normal distribution
    6. Student-t distribution
    7. Sample mean and variance
    8. Central limit theorem
    9. Strong law of large number
    10. Confidence intervals
    11. Hypothesis tests
       
  4. Critical Reasoning and Logic (10 Questions)
